Living Deliberately As A Christian Can Set You Up For Super Success
Isaiah 30:21 (NIV) - Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."
With life, you must decide for yourself that every day that you live, it will be with the consciousness of you are.
Someone rightly said, ‘life is about what you know and whom you know’. That’s very correct. This is one reason the old age idea of networking is still very relevant today as it was back then.
As a Christian, what you know should be ‘the word of God’ because it contains every instruction for your prosperity and success. If you ask God for anything, He sends His word. The second is ‘whom you know’ should be God and your acquaintance with the Holy Spirit.
The Bible said about the Holy Spirit in the book of Isaiah that ‘you will hear a voice behind you saying, here is the correct path/choice/job/house/spouse, walk in it’ (Paraphrased)
Therefore, to live deliberately in this life is to live for God and walk with Him, and listen to His voice for guidance.
Don’t find yourself drifting through life without a bearing. Chart a course for your life using the word of God.
Taking your career path into consideration, don’t just find yourself in banking by chance. It should be with God’s plan for your life. I’m not saying you’ve got to figure out everything in life before you move but knowing and listening to God’s guidance will guide you through life and help you minimize your errors.
The book of Romans talked about God’s good, acceptable and perfect will of God. Your plan should always to be in God’s perfect will because that’s where you get to and you find that life is actually good without all the struggles.
When you wake up each day, plan your how your day will go and that should be after you’ve had your devotion and fellowship with God. And listen to God’s word for that day.
Sometimes we hear this voice very tiny inside us and we think it is just our mind telling us to do stuff. No, it is the Spirit of God instructing and guiding us.
