Respond Always By Faith And The Word of God

Being rooted and grounded in the word is not an option for a Christian who wants to live the victorious and flourishing life.

He must immerse himself in the word of God. This will determine how you will respond when trouble comes when life challenges come knocking on your door. You can only give what you have.

Therefore, if you don’t have the word of God in you, you will give out ‘complaining, fear, whining etc.’. And everything you give at this time is never in consent with Gods word for you.

But when you have the word in you, the Bible says, “out of the heart flow rivers of living waters”.

When a leper met with Jesus and asked to be healed, Jesus responded: “I will: be thou clean”. At another time, when they told him that a little girl is at the point of death, and along the way, another news came that she had died to the father who was with Jesus, Jesus said: “Be not afraid, only believe”.

And Jesus proceeded to see the daughter at home. When He got there, the wailers and criers were disturbing the peace. He said, “the girl is only sleeping, he is going in to wake her up”. The people that heard him laughed him to scorn. He never mined them. He went in and spoke to the twelve year old girl, “Talmitha Cumi; which means ‘Damsel, I say unto thee, arise’”.

And she got up and walked.

There is no telling what you can do with the word of God that is deposited inside of you. You can only give what you have, and if you don’t have the word in you, you will give out what has been in you; fear, complains, worry, bitterness etc.

And it is important to note that when the news came to Jesus, He responded immediately by speaking. He didn’t try to reason it neither did he respond to them with his thought.

Sometimes, the devil will ring this word to you in form of thought; respond by the word of God. If it is a news report from someone, respond by words. The Bible said, ‘take with you words’. That’s all you need.

Joshua 1:8 says the book of the law, which is the word of God, should not depart out of your mouth but you should meditate on it day and night so you can deal wisely with the affairs of life.
