What Is God Saying Now?

Genesis 22:12 (AMP) -   The Lord said, “Do not reach out [with the knife in] your hand against the boy, and do nothing to [harm] him; for now I know that you fear God [with reverence and profound respect], since you have not withheld from Me your son, your only son [of promise].

As a child of God, it is our responsibility to always incline our ears to His saying to know and understand what He is saying now.

The reason some people are still in the same issue or had remained in a challenging circumstance for a very long time is that they’re not listening to what God is saying now to them.

They are functioning with the revelation they received some days or weeks or months or years ago. They do not know that God has started in a new direction; giving them a new instruction; therefore they are lost.

There is a new revelation.

When God asked Abraham to go sacrifice his only son – Isaac, there was no questioning if Abraham was going to do it. He proceeded.

Up until Abraham had places the young boy on the floor to sacrifice him, God didn’t say anything and as the knife was coming to slit the throat, God spoke up.

And Abraham heard him, and that made the difference.

Your walk with God shouldn’t be when you are ready or according to feelings, there should be an always communication with Him. Your spirit must be always alert to hear Him speak to you.

For some of us, God had asked us to do something and we have been very faithful is doing that thing. Now, is God still asking you to continue therein or because you’re so caught up in activity, you don’t know that God had moved direction and He is asking you to move with Him?

Jesus said; “my sheep hear my voice and they know my voice. The voice of a stranger they do not follow”.

God wants you to know His voice. He is always speaking; are you always listening?
