Celebrating Your Success

You are a seed of Abraham, whom the whole world was willed to. God told Abraham that he will bless him and make him a blessing, which he received. The bible says “Abraham did not stagger in unbelief but hold steadily by faith the word of God”.

Romans 4:20(KJV)

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

You see, God has made you a champion. He sponsors no flop. And He has chosen to bless you and also make you a blessing. This should be your consciousness everyday 24/7. It should be your present hour reality.
Therefore, you should always celebrate every of your successes because each success should bring about another one. It doesn’t matter the size of the success; celebrate it.

You are the Kings kid.

The bible instructed in the book of Philemon to “acknowledge every good thing that is in us by Christ Jesus - Philemon 1:6”.  Therefore, acknowledge every success, whether great or small.

Remember, the twelve leper that Jesus healed and the only one that came back to thank Him was made whole? That is the same with those who chose to celebrate their success and those who don’t.
Many times we feel like we’ve not achieved what we set out to achieve, not realizing that along the way God has given us small victories that if we can take the time to appreciate him, thank him and celebrate this small wins, the big one might just show up.

Someone rightly said “what we think about and thank about, we bring about”. How true!

How to celebrate your success:

  • List out all the things you want God to do in your life
  • List out the things you already have, whether they are in the list or not; tangible or intangible
  • Start thanking God for who He is, what He has done and how beautiful He has made your life to be.
  • If you are reading this piece right now, thank God for the eyes and understanding heart to read this

As you go through life; you will have people who are ahead of you, that seems to be making progress. You should never allow yourself to be compared to someone else. Your paths in life are different. That they are making progress doesn’t mean you are failing. How do you compare a man building a 2 room bungalow to someone building a sky scraper?

If there is one thing you must take home after reading this;

Celebrate every success that you make today. Do not wait till tomorrow. Do it now. Yes! Now!

Share with your friends and leave a comment if you enjoy today’s lesson. I will deeply appreciate it.
