Difficult Times Are For You. What Will You Do With It?

This is a consolation and encouragement piece to everyone that's going through a difficult time at this moment. Despite the consolation and encouragement, I will gladly tell you that hard times is for you.

First, let's try to breakdown what the word 'difficult time' means. We are going to employ the use of the advanced English dictionary.

Difficult (adjective): requiring great physical or mental effort to accomplish or comprehend or endure. It simply means, hard and not easy.

Time: an experience on a particular occasion (noun).

Adding the two meaning together, we can say difficult time is an experience that requires a great physical or mental effort to endure on a particular occasion. It also means a hard and not easy experience at a particular time.

From the definition, you would understand that it is an event, it is a phase in your life and an experience in your path as you live through every single day. This means we cannot separate our lives from difficult times, challenges or trials. Though it varies in different degrees per individual. But these times will surely come. There is no escaping it.

Since we now know that it is an experience that we would have to deal with at every phase of our lives, then our best bet is to be prepared mentally before we get there. Our mindset should be adjusted to the advantage of difficult times.

Get this clear, when difficult times come, it will attack your belief and make you shift your mindset. So, what your mind is set upon before the experience showed its face is very important.

One tool to help you prepare is the word of God. In Isaiah 43:2; God said if you pass through the fire, you won't be burnt and through the waters, it shall not over flow thee. That's an assurance from God, our father. He knew these times would come. He knew you will experience this event in your life. That's why He said; all things work together for your good (Romans 8:28).

This is the wisdom, you will need to win before these experiences come. Let your mindset be adjusted to the fact that the situation didn't come to kill you but to make you better. Usually, after such a time, you're promoted in whatever area you had the difficulty. This difficulty is here to prepare you for your future.

You should actually be worried when there is so much quietness in your life because this is the best time to prepare for war.

"In time of peace prepare for war - Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus"

It is something you cannot run away from. It will happen to you. Every stage and phase in your life have its own size of difficult experiences. Once you overcome, you move higher and get ready for another phase. Don't ever kid yourself that it will be rosy all round; your joy should be in the peace of the Lord not the circumstances.

If you live with this mentality, you always welcome these challenges. Now, that's the right word "challenges".

My word for you; if you're going through this phase right now, don't worry. Just chill (relax). Trust in God and ensure you win. Don't be weary, don't be scared, don't be ignorant.

After the difficult times, come the merriments.

Merriment: activities that are amusing and enjoyable.

To your success.
