Let Your Confident Be in The Lord

Psalms 3:3: But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

You are not of them that are without an assurance or hope. You are a different breed because the life you have in you is - Zoe. That is the very life of God, the same life that was in Jesus that He gave to us.  (John 10:10)

The Bible says that He always makes a way of escape for His beloved. And you are His beloved.

How beautiful the confessions of David were? He acknowledged all the good things that God is to him (Philemon 1:6). And he numbered them: his shield, his glory, and his lifter.

Philemon 1:6 says “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus”

No wonder the word says; ‘when men are cast down, thou shall say there is lifting up’.

Herein should your confidence be; Your confidence should be in the Lord and not on man or anything physical because the things that are physical are temporary and they come to nothing. 

There are two important things you should do to enjoy build up this confidence and live in it:

-       By acknowledging the entire good thing that is in you in Christ Jesus.

-       By saying what God had said.

You must also give place to the studying God’s word; this cannot be talked about enough. It is so important that if you don’t, you will not be doing things God’s way.

If you do, the Bible say’s ‘it will prevail’ just as it did in the city of Ephesus.

So mightily grew the word of God and prevail

Let your confidence be in the Lord today because He is your shield and He is the one that brought you out of the miry clay and set you up on the rock.
