How To Be A Better Christian: Where To Start

 Act 20:32 (ISV):  "I'm now entrusting you to God and to the message of his grace, which is able to build you up and secure for you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.

This is an issue and a question in the heart of many that they are yet to find an answer to. At first, they think either they have to be doing something better so God can love them more.

Giving it a second look, some others only have this burning desire in them but do not understand how to deal with it.

Before we go on, there is nothing you can or could do to make God love you more than He already did. How else would you describe ‘He freely gave us His only Son’?

Now, this desire to be a better Christian is really a good thing because, on your own, you couldn’t have been able to know there is an opportunity to grow in your Christian faith.

Whether you’ve been a Christian for over a decade or just yesterday, it is God who wills in you both to will and do His good pleasure. Your natural mind can’t know these things.

The Bible said; “the natural mind can’t know the things of the spirit”.

To be a better Christian, do the following:

-       Spend time with the word of God

-       Spend time in prayer and fellowshipping with the word

-       Talk to someone about Jesus Christ

The Bible implores us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

That’s all you need to start your growth path in Christianity. As you do, God will keep revealing Himself unto you.
