When God Blesses You, Ask Him For Guidance On What To Do With It

Judges 13:5 [NIV] - You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines."

The story of Samson, one of the strongest men of God, who ever lived, is such an interesting one. The Bible called him a man of faith.

Manoah and his wife had difficulty having children. So, one day the angel of God brought a prophecy to his wife and gave her some instructions. She told her husband about it, and Manoah prayed; “let the man of God which you sent come again and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born” (Judges 13:8).

And the Lord indeed sent again the angel to them again, and Manoah asked the angel in verse 12; “How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?”

This should be your action when God’s word comes to you. When God blesses you, there is always a reason; He doesn’t bless you for yourself.

The last time He blessed you with a job, did you know it was because there was someone in that office that needed to experience God’s love? Did you ask Him what to do in that office?

There’s always an ultimate goal to God’s blessing, prophecy, and presence when they come in your life. And it is your responsibility to ask Him to lead and guide you so you don’t miss out on the big goal.
