Jeremiah 12: 5
If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?
Writing this post, one person readily came to mind; David.
The Bible recorded how he defeated Goliath of Garth with a sling and cut off
his head just as he told him during the Banta.
1 Samuel 17: 41-47
41Then the Philistine came on and approached David, with the shield-bearer in front of him. 42When the Philistine looked and saw David, he disdained him; for he was but a youth, and ruddy, with a handsome appearance. 43The Philistine said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44The Philistine also said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the sky and the beasts of the field.” 45Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. 46“This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,47and that all this assembly may know that the LORD does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the LORD’S and He will give you into our hands.”

Now back to our topic and answering the question – face it!
Yes, you face it when there is no place to run to. Have you heard the saying
that he that is on the ground need fear no fall? The only way that you should
go is up.
So, when faced with challenges, whether a big mountain or puny one, face it. Don’t run. Never be afraid or angry of challenges because whenever it shows up, it means you are about to be promoted, improved, advanced, be better etc.. It is always for your good.
If you read the David and Goliath scripture here (1 Samuel 17), the Bible
recorded that after David and Goliath threw words at each other, Goliath was so angry that he took the first
step; as he did, David didn’t cower or run back, he charged towards Goliath.
1 Samuel 17:48 - Then it happened when the Philistine rose and came and drew near to meet David, that David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine.
That should be your action with challenges in whatever format they came. You should go head on with them. They can’t kill you for God won’t allow trial that is bigger than you to come your way.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
I must quickly point out that this kind of boldness doesn’t
just come on you, you have a big part to play – you must activate it. There
should be a doing on your part and it is only the Holy Spirit that can give you
such power. But, if you are born again, this power is already resident on the inside of you. You only need to bring it out.
You do not need to go looking for the power
everywhere; It is resident in you but you must make it come alive. The Bible
says, out of our belly shall flow rivers (gushers) of living water
(John 7:38). That is why you must speak
in tongues from now on like never before just as Paul when he said he speaks in
tongue more than you all:
1 Corinthians 14:18 (KJV)
I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all
You just can’t ignore this. If not, you will be affected by
the same things that ordinary men face. But you are not ordinary. You are chosen
race set apart for God (1 Peter 2:9).
I love the Bible because it has everything we need to live
the life that we so desire. In Jeremiah 12:5, the Bible asked a profound
question:
Jeremiah 12: 5 (NLT)
If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?
Do you want to succeed today? I am not talking about the
kind of success that you can systematically tell how it came to be but the type
that only God could have done. The type that required sea’s to be divided; the
type where you hold the mouth of lion and tear it into two. You will find all
these in the Bible including the giving of sight by molding clay from the
ground and putting it into his eyes.
John 9: 6 9 (KJV)
When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay
When there are no more options, where would you go? Choose to go up only. And to go up, you’ve
got to win the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12).
Just as Paul, I am telling you to run so that you may obtain
the prize.
