Never Think Little of Yourself: Think Highly

God has never created a weakling. He is God Almighty who created us in His image and likeness. And He always refers to Himself whenever he speaks as the almighty God.

So, why do you think it is humbling enough to call yourself nothing?

That is why He gives understanding to the simple. It is only the simple that looks down on themselves, and think it is a sign of being humble.

No! Don’t ever catch yourself doing that after reading this. You are a royal priesthood, a holy nation and a chosen people called forth so you can show the world God’s beauty.

It is never humbling when you think lowly of yourself. And it is never a sin when you think highly of yourself and carries yourself as a royalty. It is only a problem when you begin to think of yourself more highly than someone else.

Do you know the meaning of what you just read? It is too deep for a simple mind to comprehend that’s why He has given you an anointed mind to understand what you truly are.

Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. Don’t let your natural mind tell you so either. You might be thinking to yourself, and actually looking at your current circumstances and ask; “how do you call this one royalty?”

Remember that post on ‘acknowledging all the good things that are in you by Christ Jesus’? This is the perfect time to put it to work.

If you sit down, close your eyes to all the challenges, you will begin to see all the good things that are in you.

Looking at the life of Joseph, from when he was sold into slavery and then into prison before becoming the Prime Minister, he never thought himself to be lowly. At every point, he was ruling, even in the prison, they made him the head.

And see what he did when the kind invited him; he prepared himself by shaving and cleaning up because he knew who he was. He didn’t know that he is becoming the Prime Minister. It was just his awareness of who he was and the God he serves, that informed how he conducts his affairs and carries himself.

How do you see yourself? I am not saying ‘how do others see you?’ As important as it matters how people do see you, it is much more important how you see yourself because this will ultimately determine what you display on the outside and in the end, that’s how you will be treated.

If you see yourself as the needy, people will begin to see you like that. And do you know what follows? They will start avoiding you and this will add to the trouble that you’re already in. I’m not saying there won’t be situations where you will require help. I’m saying, don’t let it become commonplace.

Instead, by the power of the Holy Ghost, decide that you are the helper and not the one who needs help. You are a solution bringer and not the one that comes with a problem.

And begin to act that way. Even if it means you would have to starve along the way, do it. If it means, you would have to start spending more time on your won, do it. After all, God wants you to spend more time with Him so He can show you and give you all the treasures in the dark places.

Never see yourself weak. See yourself strong and become an influencer.
